Ordering & Delivery

Shipping & Delivery
How long will my order take?

Ready-to-Wear pieces are dispatched in 1–2 working days and arrive in 3–5 working days in the UK. Made-to-Order pieces are cut after you order and take 2–3 working weeks. Your product page tells you which one you are buying.

What is the difference between Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order?

Ready-to-Wear is in stock and ships straight away. Made-to-Order is cut and finished after your order comes in, which is why it takes longer. Both are made in our standard sizes.

What does UK delivery cost?

UK delivery is £4.50 for Ready-to-Wear and £25 for Made-to-Order. Delivery is free on any order over £130.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, worldwide. Shipping is calculated at checkout. After dispatch, Europe is typically 5–8 working days, the US and Canada 6–10, the Gulf 5–8, and Australia and New Zealand 8–12.

Will I pay customs or import duties?

Possibly, if your order is delivered outside the UK. Duties and import taxes are set by your country, payable by you on arrival, and are not included at checkout. We cannot calculate them in advance.

How do I track my order?

A tracking number is emailed to you on dispatch. Check your spam folder if it is not there after three working days, then email us.

Will it arrive in time for Eid or my wedding?

Tell us the date before you order and we will be straight with you. During Eid and wedding season, place Made-to-Order orders at least four weeks ahead.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Message us as soon as possible. If a Made-to-Order piece has not been cut, we can usually stop it. Your statutory cancellation rights are explained in our Returns & Exchanges policy.

Sizing & Fit

Read the Size Guide
Which size should I take?

Check the chart on the product page because sizing varies by design. Our measurements are of the garment laid flat, so double the chest and waist figures for the measurement around. If you are between sizes, size up.

Are your sizes UK sizes?

We use Small, Medium and Large with our own measurements, listed in inches on every product page. These are close to UK sizing, but the garment measurements are the best guide.

Can I get the trousers shortened?

We do not alter in-house, but ask us and we will tell you where the seam allowance sits so your tailor knows what they are working with.

Do you offer made-to-measure?

Yes. Send us a message with the piece you are interested in and your requirements, and we will let you know what is possible.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns & Exchanges
Can I return something?

Yes. For eligible online orders, tell us within 14 days of delivery that you want to cancel, then return the item within a further 14 days. Customised and made-to-measure pieces are excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights unless faulty.

Who pays return postage?

You are responsible for change-of-mind return postage. If an item is faulty, we cover the reasonable return cost.

What if it arrives damaged?

Email or WhatsApp us with your order number and clear photos as soon as possible. For a genuinely faulty item, your statutory rights apply and any refund includes the standard delivery charge.

What counts as a fault?

A fault is a defect in the making, such as a broken seam, a fastening that fails in normal use, or embroidery coming away without being pulled. Damage from wear, snagging, incorrect care, or natural variation in hand work is not a manufacturing fault.

The colour looks different to the photos. Is that a fault?

Screens vary, and hand-dyed fabric carries natural variation. If the item is genuinely not the colour we described, contact us and we will put it right.

Can I return a sale item?

Yes. Sale items have the same statutory rights as full-price items. Standard online cancellation terms apply unless the item is customised or made to measure; faulty goods are always covered by your statutory rights.

Care Instructions

How do I clean my Muze piece?

Dry clean anything embroidered, embellished, silk or organza. Use a specialist who handles occasionwear and tell them the garment has hand work.

Can I machine wash anything?

Only plain designs can be machine washed: cold, delicate cycle, inside out. Never machine wash anything with zardozi, sequins, mirror work, tilla or beading.

Can I iron it?

Iron on low, inside out, with a cotton cloth between the iron and the fabric. Never iron directly over embroidery, sequins or metallic thread. Steaming from a distance is safer.

How should I store it?

Fold rather than hang because heavy embroidery can pull a garment out of shape. Wrap embellished pieces in muslin or tissue, keep them out of direct sunlight, and do not store them in plastic.

The embroidery has snagged. Can it be fixed?

Usually. Do not pull the thread; gently push it through to the reverse with a needle. For anything more serious, use a specialist.

Does the dupatta need pressing?

Organza and net dupattas arrive folded and may need a light steam. Hold the steamer about six inches away and do not press directly on scalloped edging.

My piece has slight variation in the embroidery placement. Is that normal?

Yes. Two hand-worked pieces from the same design will never be identical. Small variations are a mark of the craft, not a fault.

Will the colour run?

Hand-dyed and richly coloured fabrics can bleed on first contact with water, which is one reason we recommend dry cleaning. Never soak the garment.

What can I pay with?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Shop Pay.

Can I pay in instalments?

Klarna and Shop Pay Instalments may be available at checkout depending on your order and location. Any instalment plan is an agreement with the relevant provider or lender, subject to eligibility checks and terms.

What currency am I charged in?

GBP. Any currency conversion shown on the site is indicative; your bank sets its exchange rate and may add a foreign transaction fee.

When am I charged?

Payment is taken in full at checkout, including on Made-to-Order pieces, because production begins on receipt of payment.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and PayPal over an encrypted connection. Muze London never sees or stores your full card details.
